About the Journal

ESTUDIOS INTERNACIONALES: Journal of the Institute of International Studies at the University of Chile, it is published three times a year, in April, August, and December.

The journal Estudios Internacionales is a multidisciplinary academic publication in international relations, addressing its political, legal, economic, and historical dimensions. Estudios Internacionales publishes original research works on various regions of the world, giving particular importance to topics related to Latin America.

It is eminently an instrument for exchanging research results between specialists in international studies and others interested in knowing the latest developments in the area.

The journal is financed with the resources of the University of Chile, does not accept advertising, and is not commercialized. International Studies is committed to providing the most significant possible access to its articles, which is why there is no charge for access to published articles, neither current nor past.

The views expressed in it are the sole responsibility of their authors and do not compromise any institution. Published articles that should address current topics of academic interest in the field of social sciences, especially those related to international relations, must be original and unpublished and will be subject to the journal's peer review.

The Journal reserves the right to edit the material it publishes.
