Remuneration, while essential element of the employment contract, has an intrinsic and other extrinsic contractual regulation. It comes from both the law and the nature of the employment contract. This essay will show a first structural classification, in which we will see how the onerous contractwork and the employer's risks, legally operates. Then, we will see how to explain, legally, participatory remuneration (eventual compensation) and the importance of exposed legal criteria, soto avoid confusion with the (permanent) variable remuneration.
