The transnationalization of companies makes it difficult to hold them accountable for human rights violations against their workers. In this article, we reflected on the potential of supranational collective bargaining as a mechanism for the promotion and reparation of labor human rights. It has been found that supranational collective bargaining has been used since the 1990s in Europe and South America to create labor rights for employees living in the European Union or Mercosur. The work shows that the difficulties of corporate accountability are reduced when legal duties are assigned by collective bargaining, whose content is accepted as mandatory in a given community of countries.
